Lovely venue & easy free parking. Could do with a sign off the main road just past the Abbey main entrance though. Lunch was lovely too but it was really cold in there today.

Serenely calming, a great learning experience and marvelous abbey inside and out. The restaurant is very reasonably priced and you get more than adequate portions and a plentiful menu. Dogs are allowed on leads, free entry too. The gardens are beautiful.

Great conference centre for events and meetings. It can be a little tricky to find the entrance as it is not accessed by the same entrance as the abbey itself. The food provided by the centre is of very good quality and went down well with everyone. There is disabled access and lovely, clean toilets. Plenty of parking is available next to the centre.

Went here for a conference over 2 days. Beautiful setting, lovely grounds. Conference centre is a a fairly plain building but great staff and amazing snacks and lunch. Plenty of parking available to attendees.

With our dedicated team of event professionals; you can be sure of a successful event with us. Buckfast Abbey Conference Centre is the perfect place to host an inspirational conference, training seminar, lunch, dinner or special event.

The newly refurbished Schiller Hall is capable of catering for up to 120 delegates, and includes a mezzanine floor and terrace area, making the most of the stunning views over the River Dart, the Abbey Church and our extensive grounds. The expanded central atrium area has a newly raised roof to flood in natural light, which compliments the further meeting rooms or breakout space on the first floor.

With a selection of fully equipped, flexible rooms, lots of outside space and ample free car parking. Currently there are 7 fully equipped meeting rooms for groups of up to 120 people. Our largest room has completed its extensive and exciting refurbishments, and can host up to 120 delegates. All rooms are accessible for disabled users.

Our freshly prepared catering is served in a dining room overlooking the Abbey and gardens, a superb environment to refresh your delegates. We offer a 2 course hot & cold fork buffet, all prepared daily using seasonal, local ingredients. Bespoke menus available for exclusive bookings and all dietary allergy requirements catered for with prior notice. Please contact us to discuss. Directions
From the A38 Plymouth to Exeter expressway, take the Dart Bridge turn off and follow the brown directional signs to Buckfast Abbey, turning right at the Dart Bridge roundabout into Buckfast Road. Follow the road to the mini roundabout and take first exit – the main Abbey car park is to your right; go past this, continuing up the hill and take the next right turn. Follow this road on towards a T-junction and turn right at small village green. Follow signs for Conference Centre.

Pickup/Drop off
Very accessible by many types of vehicle including loading vans and coaches. Coaches would have to use main Abbey car park.

Six other event rooms, which can host groups of up to 85, are also available in the main conference centre, each of which has been enhanced with the very latest in audiovisual equipment to aid training, presentations or business events. The majority of the rooms overlook beautifully maintained gardens that surround the Abbey.

The Conference Centre is renowned for the quality of its menus which are created celebrating seasonal, local ingredients. Parking and Wi-Fi is complimentary. Rates includes refreshments served with homemade biscuits.

On-site accommodation for residential conferences and events is available at the 33 bedroom on-site Northgate House Hotel, or group accommodation at Grangehurst House.
